PRE-FORUM SITE VISITS

Join us for thematic pre-conference site visits: Healthcare, Digital Economy and Cigarette

1.  Healthcare
During our healthcare site visit, we will visit a private hospital which has successfully adopted the universal health care program and get an overview of the program's best practices. We'll also get a deeper insight on the efforts to overcome operational and profitability challenges the sector face with this new development. During the second part of the visit, we will head to one of the very few factories in Indonesia responsible for manufacturing biosimilar drugs, and get a better insight of this new medicinal product’s prospects, strengths and challenges.

2.  Digital Economy
In our Digital Economy site visit, we will explore the adoption of mobile payment platform in Greater Jakarta. In this visit, we aim to get a better understanding on how the emerging mobile payment platform can help the move towards cashless society and how it can create additional economic values for micro and small enterprises. We also seek to understand the current competitive landscape of the Indonesian mobile payment business and the key success factors for the mobile payment services’ mass adoption

3.  Bank Mandiri
We will visit Bank Mandiri (one of the institutions that will execute the social spending). In this visit, we want to understand further about the system and logistic needed to execute the non-cash approach. We will also visit certain UMKM clients. As we know, the SME segment has not been as good as other segments, given the economic slowdown. The preferred customers are those involved in: basic necessities, textile/apparel, and household goods

4.  Cigarette
Recent regulatory development and the dynamic of competition make cigarette an interesting sector to explore. An intimate meeting with the management of PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) will give us deeper insights on the company’s strategies to thrive in the market, where the Management can also share about the longer-term outlook and challenges of the tobacco industry.
