Recapturing the Growth Momentum
Mandiri Investment Forum (MIF) is the biggest annual investment forum in Indonesia. Co-hosted by Bank Mandiri, Mandiri Sekuritas and supported by the Ministry of Investment, Republic of Indonesia, it aims to deliver the opportunity for investors to hear firsthand economic and investment issues of the day in an efficient manner. Our five-day series of events comprises the Macro Day, Thematic Day and Corporate Day. Our main event, Macro Day, will be conducted on 9 February 2022 via a secure online conferencing platform, and set the sights on discussing investment opportunities and challenges in Indonesia. The Forum in 2021 was attended by more than 10,000 participants, including around 800 foreign institutional portfolio investors and embassies.
Running for the 11th year, MIF 2022 is an exceptionally strategic forum to comprehend economic and business strategies amidst Indonesia’s recovery cycle. The forum will unequivocally provide valuable insights and outlook on investing in Indonesia, as well as business prospects going forward as recovery is expected to accelerate in 2022. It provides the audience unprecedented access to viewpoints and perspectives of prominent speakers, including top-notch ministers, central bankers, business leaders and professionals.
The Macro Day (9 February 2022) will emphasize on the strategies and policies required to balance between maintaining stability against the background of global stimulus exit and promoting growth through continuing economic reform, without putting aside the importance of digitalization and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) in attaining sustainable growth. Thematic discussion will be held during the Tech Day (7 – 8 February 2022), while the Corporate Day (8, 10-11 February 2022) will focus on one-on-one and/or small group meetings between the management of mid/large-cap Indonesian companies, government officials from the Ministry of Investment and institutional investors.
