PRE-FORUM SITE VISITS

Join us for thematic pre-conference site visits with policy makers and auto manufacturers on Tuesday 7th of February!

1.  Get in touch with Bank Indonesia and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (TBC)
a.    Visit the Bank Indonesia Museum
Located in Jakarta Old Town and housed in a heritage building, investors visiting the BI museum will be able to learn Bank Indonesia’s role from the early Indonesian history, including their monetary policies that change over time. Furthermore, the museum also harbors notable collections, including old currencies as early as the 14th century and bank notes from around the world.
b.    Small group discussion with BI officials
After the BI museum visit, we plan to hold a small group discussion between BI officials and investors. The discussion is expected to give better understanding and outlook about BI’s monetary policy and also economic condition going forward.
c.    Visit the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries
After the BI visit we plan to hold a small group discussion between the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries officials and investors. The discussion is expected to give better understanding and outlook about the department current policy and their expected condition going forward.
 
2.  Infra and Auto Manufacturer Visit (TBC)
a.    Visiting Tanjung Priok Port
Catching a train ride from Stasiun Gambir to Stasiun Tanjung Priok, we will get a chance to visit the port area of Tanjung Priok; with numerous infra-port related companies to visit, we will see the most recent update on the port developments.
b.    Visiting Auto Manufacturing Plant
After a visit to the Tanjung Priok Port, we will head to largest auto manufacturing plant in the city. Located in the heart of North Jakarta, this visit should help investor understand the automotive industry better
