Jakarta, June 10, 2021 - PT Mandiri Sekuritas (Mandiri Sekuritas/Company) wins the "Best Investment Bank" award for 11 consecutive years from FinanceAsia[1]. Mandiri Sekuritas also wins the "Best Broker in Indonesia" award for 7 consecutive years" and "Best Debt Capital Market (DCM) House in Indonesia" for 5 straight years.
The three awards were received based on the company's performance in 2020 and the first quarter of 2021. In 2020, Mandiri Sekuritas recorded a solid operating revenues of Rp794 billion, increasing 21% compared to the same period in 2019. While net profit was recorded at Rp135,4 billion in 2020, rising 45% compared to the same period in 2019. As per 31 March, 2021, Mandiri Sekuritas recorded operating revenues of Rp245 billion, an increase of 56% compared to the same period in 2020, and a net profit of Rp58 billion, an increase of 275% to the same period in 2020.

Mandiri Sekuritas wins the award as the Best Investment Bank and DCM in Indonesia after the company managed to maintain its leadership in the bond underwriting business by controlling 15.3% market share in 2020. Mandiri Sekuritas succeeded in issuing 47 corporate bonds throughout 2020 during pandemic. In addition, the Company’s subsidiary, Mandiri Securities Pte. Ltd. (Mandiri Securities Singapore), managed to maintain its share of the global bond market as the Top 4 even though it has only started operating since 2017. Throughout 2020, Mandiri Securities Singapore has successfully completed 16 global bond mandates.
Meanwhile, the award as the best broker in Indonesia achieved by Mandiri Sekuritas after recording a stock transaction value of more than Rp357 trillion in 2020. In addition, the retail business recorded solid growth last year with an increase in the number of customers by more than 75%. As of 31 March, 2021, the retail business continues to show its strong growth by contributing 69% of the company's overall business revenue.
