Jakarta, 7 November 2024 – PT Mandiri Sekuritas (Mandiri Sekuritas/Company), in collaboration with BenihBaik Foundation, today carried out a tree planting activity in Hambalang Village, Citeureup District, Bogor Regency, West Java. This activity involved 30 volunteers from Mandiri Sekuritas and BenihBaik Foundation, who planted 200 productive trees, including avocado and durian trees.
Nadya Siregar, Head of Corporate Secretary and Communications at Mandiri Sekuritas, said, “We are very pleased to conduct this CSR activity, and we would like to thank BenihBaik Foundation for the collaboration in creating various efforts and taking concrete actions to preserve the environment together with us. The tree planting program is part of our tangible commitment to foster a healthier and more sustainable environment for the broader community.”
The tree-planting program is part of Mandiri Sekuritas Peduli's Social and Environmental Responsibility program, which consists of 4 pillars, namely: Financial Literacy, Education, Donation, and Environment. The environmental pillar has been implemented in various themes, such as energy, plastic, and water-saving campaigns, waste management, and planting 1001 Mangrove trees in 2023.
