Jakarta, 24 November 2022 – PT Mandiri Sekuritas (Mandiri Sekuritas/Company) supports the improvement of capital market financial literacy by reactivating 4 (four) Galeri Investasi (Investment Galleries) in collaboration with the Indonesia Banking School, Pakuan Bogor University, MH Thamrin University, and the International Semen Indonesia University. The Galeri Investasi acts as a center for information on Indonesian capital market products and mechanisms and encourages students to build investments.
Retail Director of Mandiri Sekuritas, Theodora Manik said, “We are very pleased to be able to reactivate our Galeri Investasi to increase capital market financial literacy among university students. Through the Galeri Investasi, we will organize a series of financial literacy programs including a stock trading competition to encourage students to invest. We believe that these educational programs will improve students’ knowledge, skills, and competencies in investing through the Mandiri Online Securities Trading (MOST) digital platform to build their financial future.”
The inauguration of the Galeri Investasi was held in the form of a self-development literacy education program for students delivered by David Noah – Founder & CEO of Fortis Fortuna Capital and Ezady Muslim – Financing Manager of Mandiri Sekuritas.
This program is part of Mandiri Sekuritas’ Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSR) program, specifically in the Financial Literacy and Inclusion pillar. In this pillar, other capital market literacy programs are also organized in collaboration with various other universities and foundations in Indonesia. In addition to the Financial Literacy and Inclusion pillar, Mandiri Sekuritas CSR also supports by three other pillars, namely Education, Social Donations/Natural Disasters, and the Environment.
